Week #76 - Esperanza (Final Post)
Well everyone, as President Nelson said in General Conference
¨The time is running out!¨
One more week until I finish my time as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. No career or sport could have offered me the same experiences I have had on the mission. I have learned so many things representing the Lord, but the most important witness I have received, is that Christ lives. He knows me and loves me. We ALL can become more like Him through his infinite Atonement, and feel eternal happiness. I know my family will live together if we keep the sacred covenants we have made with the Lord to serve Him and love Him forever. I have felt myself become more sensitive to the spirit than the voices of the world, and am so grateful that the Lord helped me open my eyes to see what truly matters in my life. If you are thinking about serving a mission, pray sincerely to your Father in Heaven, with a willing heart to do whatever he asks of you, and He WILL answer. He has done it for me countless times.
Do the best you can, and accept the support of the Savior´s sacrifice to make up for what you lack. I know He loves every one of us. And I look forward to striving to be more like Him the rest of my life.
I know I have not been the perfect servant, but thankfully God didn´t call me because I was perfect, but because I was willing.
Have a wonderfully week. The Lord is on your side wherever you go!
See you soon!
Hermana Doney
