Week #75 - Esperanza
HELLO EVERYONE!
I cannot believe how fast time is going by! My sister will also be getting married in less than a month and I´m so happy and excited for her!!!
Martha Sofia got baptized on Saturday!! And shared her testimony with her family who were present, afterwards. She was so full of joy and I know her parents were touched by her example. Hermano Hector Ruiz baptized her and I found out that he has already done baptisms in the temple too, and am so happy for all the service he is doing!
Sister Martha Sofia wants to go to the temple this Friday and we hope to go with her too to see her do baptisms!!
In church on Sunday we had a special meeting the second hour and the stake President came. He shared his testimony about missionary work and suddenly looked at one of our investigators sitting with us in the meeting who we have been teaching. He stopped talking and looked him in the eyes from the stand and asked his name. Then he proceeds to say: “You are not here by chance today in this meeting. . The Lord knows your heart, and what you have felt today is the Spirit. These sisters are authorized of God to teach you. Open your heart and I know you will be joining us soon.”
I felt the spirit so strong and knew President Bravo, while he hadn´t even met Alberto before, was so in tune with the Spirit that he what Alberto needed to hear. We hope to extend a baptismal date with him this week!
I have never done anything so satisfying in my life. It´s definitely not easy serving a mission, but it´s so worth the struggles and pain to help others come unto Christ.
Love you all!! One more email left!
