Week #72 - Esperanza

Well, Angel is finally attending seminary now ever since we gave him an alarm clock we found in our apartment we are not using so he doesn´t sleep in!! He attended a baptism on Saturday and had a hooded coat on. A few other young boys who are members of the church saw him pass by as he was about to enter, and they said: run away from the robber! He proudly responded: for your information, I´m a member of this church, and walked in. All the little boys were all, ¨ohhhhhhh¨ and ran away... hahahah love him! SOO close to being confirmed a member! His baptism sadly has to be postponed for next Saturday because he needs a little bit more attendance. He didn´t make it to church this last Sunday because his dad traveled to Trujillo and he needed his son´s help so he had to go with. But he is so ready and so excited to make covenants with Heavenly Father and be a true member of His church.

We were a little sad, not seeing Angel, but seeing Yahaira and her son on enter the chapel after not being able to find them this past week brought joy to our hearts. We are praying that Yahaira will receive her confirmation this week that the church is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet so she can get baptized! We also taught a friend of a recent convert in Victoria who accepted a baptismal date for March 30th and is ready to put his confidence in God more in his life than before. Daniel is 24 and told us he would like to serve a mission like his friend is planning on doing who recently got baptized!

We were contacting yesterday, pretty tired from being on our feet all day, when suddenly when we knocked on a door, the young daughter of the man we started talking to came up to us  and gave us huge hug and a kiss on the cheek. She didn´t even know who we were, but when she saw us she immediately smiled and hugged us. It was a greatly needed hug, and I know Heavenly Father sent her to help us to keep moving forward, preaching the gospel to everyone. Little miracle moments for ya.

Well, love you all so much!! Keep saying your prayers daily to strengthen your relationship with Heavenly Father. He loves you no matter what!
