Week #68 - Esperanza

Hello everyone!!!

This last week the youth went to EFY and two of my converts went and I was sooo happy!! Nicol who we haven´t been able to find went, and on Sunday the bishop asked all of the youth that went to share their testimonies in Sacrament meeting. When she shared hers, she started to cry and explained that she has gone through hard family problems and hadn´t been able to come to church. But she said she knew she needed to go to the camp to feel of God´s love. I cried and was so happy that she went. It was an answer to my prayers! I know that Christ´s grace does the rest if we pray in faith and do all we can in our reach to help others.

We went to the temple today!! I felt so much peace. AND I WAS SOOO EXCITED TO GO WITH SISTER TERRERA FOR THE LAST TIME. Also news flash: the sun´s blazing rays have completely converted me into a blonde hahahh...sorry hair. In Peru the rays here are probably the strongest than anywhere else in the world so that´s fun.... pics below!

We are teaching Angel who is 12 and sooo amazingly smart. He accepted a baptismal date for March! He is super independent and mature and even works in construction to pay for HIS OWN math classes during vacations… okay what??? He is anxiously looking for the truth and has gone to many of the churches except The Church of Jesus Christ. And he´s now looking for his answer while reading the Book of Mormon. We had a lesson with him in the chapel, and when we got there yesterday, he was already there sitting in the grass reading the Book of Mormon alone, waiting for us... SO CUTE.

We had a miracle on Sunday. We passed by SOO many people to pick them up to go to church and no one was there.... then FINALLY when we got to the last investigator´s house, Yahaira, the Venezuelan we recently found and are teaching, came out with her son and her niece and they ALL three came together and had a great experience. We were so relieved and happy they could all come. GOD IS GOOD. Also Hector, a recent convert, has been KILLING it accompanying us! Go Hector!!

Love you all so much!! GO TO THE TEMPLE.
