Week #66 - Esperanza

Buena tarde todos!!!!

SOOO many things going on here is Esperanza!!! I´m am loving it with Sister Terrera!! We saw so many miracles this week, and are working hard with the members to find people ready to accept the gospel. We found sooo many part member families and are excited to set baptismal dates with them this week!

It´s also SCORCHING HOT and I´m pretty sure I lost 50 pounds of sweat this week. It´s super humid and you feel like a wet stick walking around all day haha... BUT IT¨S SO WORTH IT. 

We are especially excited for Gonzalo who we recently met who has a sincere desire to know if God exists. He listened to the elders a long time ago, but is more desperate now to find the truth in his life. His mom is a less-active member who we happened to contact a week earlier in the street. She is only here for 2 months on vacation, so it was a miracle that we found her and that we found her son through her!

Can´t believe my sister is engaged!! WOOO congrats Rei Fri!!! So many changes going on and it´s a little weird and hard to be hearing about it all without being there to celebrate, but soon I´ll be there soon enough too!

I know this work is true and that living the gospel brings the most satisfying feelings we can ever feel in our lives... even more satisfying than winning a sports game or eating Tillamook mudslide ice cream haha :) I love my Savior, and know He suffered for me so that I can return to my Father in Heaven completely clean of any sin or wrongdoing I´ve committed. The church is true and I´m so beyond proud to be a member of it.
