Week #65 - Esperanza
Mis Últimas 12 Semanas!
We are starting a new transfer!! Well, my companion Sister Eli went off, happy and anxious to head home. It was hard to say goodbye, but I know she will be so happy to be welcomed home by her family!!
But want to know who will be replacing her???......
MI HIJA SISTER TERRERA!!!!
WOOOOO I am so excited to be with her again but as SISTER TRAINING leaders! When she started the mission, I trained her during her last 6 weeks in Cajamarca and was so sad we had such short time together. BUT NOW we're going to reunite once again and I AM SO EXCITED! I literally cried when the secretaries called. I really know we will be able to achieve an even higher level of committment together. We are planning on doing many things this transfer to help the sisters see so much more success and I know we are going to see miracles. She's coming down from Cajamarca today at 6pm, just like me when I got called to be a Sister Training leader!
We are trying to think of new ideas to really help the sisters develop more faith and have more success. I have felt a lot more concern and love for the sisters now, being a sister leader for 6 months, and hope I am doing all the Lord wants me to do. We invited them to print out every reference from the last 3 years received in referral manager where we receive all our references, and we promised that if they tried to look for every one (even if they had been contatced before), that they would have a baptism this next month. We are putting in a greater effort to find God´s chosen children, and we don´t have a doubt that He will bless us.
We were sooo happy to see Hna Danny at church with Merly on Sunday!! Merly has received the lessons for more than 2 years now... and ALWAYS comes to church but isn't married with Dany because he hasn't felt ready.... but his heart has been changing after so many fasts and prayers and he stayed the whole time at church! We were able to find out why he has been delaying marriage this week with the help of members accompanying us to find his iceberg, and we are continually praying so that they can all progress as a family. I also gave a talk about obedience on Sunday, and hope the Spirit could help them recognize the promised blessings from obeying.
Well, this week is going to be super crazy!! But I´m so excited to get to working SUPER hard until the end!!!
LOVE YOU ALL!! Have a great week!!
Hermana Doney
