Week #54 - Esperanza

Hello everyone!!

Hector got baptized on Saturday!! And he is sooo awesome!! He´s a super tall, 40-year old man that we have been teaching for only a month and a half, and has such a strong testimony of the gospel and of our living prophet, Russell M. Nelson. His parents are Adventistas, and he grew up going to church with them. Turns out, he has aunts and uncles who are members of the church, who live in a different part of our mission and they were able to come see him be confirmed a member of Christ´s church on Sunday, and they were so happy for him . It was so special!! Pics below!! (He is super tall and the pics are the best hahah probs my fav pics of the whole mish)
Sister Eli and I are the Sister Training leaders of the mission and I love her!! She has an accent, being from the Philippines, and sometimes it´s a little difficult understanding her in Spanish, but she knows English too. She is so sweet and works so hard and I LOVE IT. We set a goal to contact 30 people daily and are working SOO hard everyday... sometimes I feel like there isn´t enough time in the day to get everything done we need to!
I´m one of the 4 sister training leaders in all of the mission and this is my third transfer as a sister leader. We are in charge of the sisters in 4 zones, which is 22 sisters. I am now with a sister who will finish her mission in 2 transfers in January. I will be ¨killing¨ her too like I did with Sister Soldevilla haha. I´ll be with her two exchanges because a sister training leader never is a sister training leader for only one transfer. This means I will be a Sister Training Leader for a while since I will have to stay here after Sister Eli goes home to be able to lead the area with my next companion. I will be here in Esperanza maybe until I finish! I will at least be here in total 5 transfers.

We are teaching some great people here in Esperanza, and are doing all we can to find the escogidos. Freddy went to the temple for the first time with all the young men this past week!! He is the Secretary of the young men´s presidency and took a name to the temple. SOOO COOL to know that HE is now doing missionary work through the veil!
