Week #45 - Esperanza

Hello everyone!!

This week was super successful. Nicol and Ariana have baptismal dates for the 8th of September! Ariana and Nicol are cousins, and are super excited to be baptized. They are super young, but have independently been going to church, and are so mature. Maricielo, another youngin´accepted a baptismal date for the 15th of September, and her aunt is a member. Your prayers for them will be greatly appreciated as there always will be temptations and difficulties for the youth who have such strong desires to come unto Christ. 

We have been getting a ton of help from the members this past week with appointments, which helped Freddie accept a baptismal date for the 8th of September as well! He is progressing so quickly. We sent messages to our investigators Saturday morning to remind them about the church meetings Sunday, and Freddie called us right away to ask if he needed to bring his Book of Mormon to church. We wanted to cry.  He came to church for the first time, and was a little overwhelmed at first because it was all so new for him, but I know he felt the Spirit, and he is so ready and willing to make changes in his life to make covenants with God. He is ready to leave behind his old life as he said, of drinking and partying, and wants to make changes. The Bishop accompanied us to an appointment with him yesterday, and it went so well. His desire and enthusiasm are super high! Pray for him!

I´ll will be able to participate in my first leadership conference tomorrow with the other zone leaders and sister leaders, and I´m super excited to see what it´s all about. Super happy and privileged to be working alongside so many wonderful people who have so many skills and talents. I know I will be learning so much and developing so many more talents with his new calling that I have.
